The work is inspired by Taipei, a complex and multi-dimensional city. Different from Buildings on the ground, the underpass is a single path leads to one destination. Wandering in underpass is similar to diving in urban, also microcosmic the city in different ways.
In the production, we had visited the underpass in Taipei, collected image and texture on site, and use the traffic soundscape as the base, present it with a concept of infinite extension, then combine with a representation regenerated through the software, to create an immersive artificial scenery.
作品靈感來自台北複雜且多層次的樣貌。與地面上的建築不同，地下通道是一條單一的路徑，通往明確的目的地。在地下通道中行走，就像在城市中潛行，這條隱藏的動線以不同的方式折射出城市的縮影。
在創作過程中，藝術家們親自探訪台北的地下通道，現場採集影像與材質，並以交通聲景作為基底，呈現出一種無限延展的概念。接著，透過軟體的運算與再生成，構築出一個沉浸式的人工景觀，讓觀眾得以在其中感受城市的另一種存在方式。
